English Hazel Nut Charm

This charm includes five English hazel nuts, long associated with protection, wisdom, and divination in British and European folklore. Hazel was considered sacred to Thor and thought to embody lightning itself. In pre-modern Europe, hazel nuts were worn as protective amulets, with archaeological finds including hazel nut necklaces in prehistoric tombs and good luck charms carried by soldiers in World War I. Hazel was also traditionally used in folk divination practices—particularly during autumn festivals like Nut Crack Night—where nuts were burned or roasted to reveal insights about love, fate, and the future.
