Iron Horseshoe

Horseshoes can be used as an amulet for good luck and protection against the evil eye and enemies especially when hung above or next to doorways or as a wall hanging in your home or business. 

The crescent shape of the horseshoe is told to symbolize Moon goddesses of ancient Europe such as Artemis and Diana as well as the Virgin Mary.
When used for protection, it is said to invoke these goddesses themselves. 

Some folk place the horseshoes in a downward position so the luck pours down on you, while others in parts of Northern Europe believe the horseshoes must be facing upward or luck will run out.

Rusty horseshoes can also be anointed with Red Fast Luck Oil or Fiery Wall of Protection Oil.
