Hyssop is a biblical herb and as such is widely used in Hoodoo. Any uncrossing and cleansing formula can be strengthened by the addition of Hyssop. It can also be brewed into a tea and bathed with after doing darker workings to take off anything you may have picked up.

Hyssop can also be used for protection, particularly from the evil eye.
